The aim of the Cambrian Mountains Initiative is to offer activities that are of value to the communities of this part of Wales, specifically:

  1. Working with communities, local producers, tourism operators and provide support;
  2. support the natural and built in environment
  3. support provision of ecosystem services
  4. work with partners to establish the area as a distinct tourism destination
  5. ensure an understanding of the area with local communities and visitors
